A duty free zone, Aqaba is located on the Red Sea and the only coastal town in Jordan. Close to Wadi Rum it is the ideal place to have some relaxation on the beach.
Most of the big beach resorts have beach oriented activities and are located at Tala Bay just a short ride from the city. Take the opportunity to go diving or catch a sunset cruise which we can arrange for you. The town itself has a number of good restaurants and western food outlets. There are some nice shops but many are mainly selling the chinese goods that come into the port.
Jordan’s second airport is here which receives budget airline flights from Europe and has connections to Queen Alia International Airport in Amman. You can also cross the border to Eilat in Israel and Haqi in Saudi Arabia with the correct paperwork.
